My definition of community in this case: everybody who participates in this forum.
...
Maybe I wasn't clear enough when I said "When it comes to the community your post being downrated imo shows already what's wrong here" . They stated they will leave and said what they dislike and that they would have loved to stay on GOG and got downvoted ... for what exactly? That they made a decision? That they personally stated things they disliked?. But Dogmaus post was only ONE example of downvotes that happened just for the sake of it. Take a look at this thread alone and count the downvoted posts. If you have the time, look at several other threads and you will find hundreds of downvoted posts - even some that said "thanks" or "great that we finally have this game" or similar things nobody who is reasonable would object to. The reason why this happens are bots and the sales people would not have any reason at all to downvote these posts. Some think it is a demonstration of power to use this button and it took me a long time to accept that there is nothing you can do about it - being affected with constant downvotes myself - and simply accepted it for good. Did not happen back in the old days - insults where downvoted, hate was downvoted, promoting DRM was downvoted but not perfectly reasonable and often even completely unemotional and objective statements... but that is what part of the community has become imo.
Maybe you are right and I will come eventually to the same conclusion.
But I am definitely not ready right now.
Gamers on GOG would have no reason to act in that way ... even if they are not inclined to reasoning
or if the don't have any technical background.
But of cause - I see the "low rated" signs as if a lot of people would not be pleased about what they are reading here.
But why not speak up - not that I see any chance for a valid argument against what is said - but this is strange.
So I am still thinking that this is done by people having access to the code ... or possibly hacked ... ;)

It's definitely a hack. Every single post I make will become "low rated" given an hour or two. No matter what it is.
