UPDATE: You didn't think that was all did you? Oh you did? WELL YOU WERE WRONG. Because we just went ahead and added The Inner World, Gangland, the Runaway series, Space Run: Fast and Safe Delivery, the Meridian series, and Wargame: European Escalation.

Our grand Summer Sale is still on until the end of the day so make sure to unlock your free Sunless Sea and RiME using these 1200+ other games as your key. Don't worry, it doesn't hurt them, we checked.
However, even after the Summer Sale goes away, our Weekly Sale will be here for you. Let's take a look at what's in it.

Join the Renowned Explorers: International Society as they go gallivanting around the globe in pursuit of adventure, forgotten treasures, and lots of exotic trouble. The kind only a silver tongue or a silver dagger can solve if you play your turns right.

Steel yourselves with the power of metal and make some night terrors bleed in Slain: Back from Hell. Menacing bosses, devastating elemental weapons, fierce music.

The Weekly Sale ends June 25, 10 PM UTC.

Panaias: A weekly sale, back to basics :) I've got 2 questions:
1. Any opinions on Slain? Is it hard as hell or manageable? I like challenging games, but not so challenging as to throw my gamepad out of the window!
Slain is definitely extremely hard, probably harder than Dark Souls IMO. Slain might not be as hard as Volgarr, but Slain will still be way out of reach of the average gamer in terms of the ability to progress through it.

Slain uses a checkpoint system and they are spaced way too far apart, with way too many mobs/traps/minibosses piled up between them. The game only saves if you reach the next checkpoint.

Thanks a lot for the comments, you've helped make up my mind!
I am no gaming wizard and could finish Slain. Volgar is a sub-par game compared to Slain. Many bad opinions about Slain are based on an older version.
No discount on Bombshell Deluxe Edition?

A bug, maybe?

Anyone think we have too many gog deals/sales?. Much preferred it when when only had the handful each year...

Not really. Steam and other sites have different bundles and sales every day.

I don't think we have too many sales. Besides, it's entirely our own choice if we want to take advantage of a sale or not.

Thanks!

Runaway is great! Beautiful, old-school, quite challenging point-and-click adventures.
Definitely worth trying, especially for the price.
