I'm going under.
There is an unmistakable underground theme running through a lot of this weekend's games, isn't there? Not regarding their fame - oh no, these were all pretty notorious in their time.
But look, SteamWorld Dig makes tunnel exploration a blast. That's also where Earthworm Jim comes from (sorta) and he loves blasting things too. Prehistorik = cavemen so nuff said there. In Donut County you'll basically become a hole in the ground (and love every minute of it).
Of course, the most three-dimensional, explosive, and intense version of the underground has got to be the one in Descent, the -quite literally- groundbreaking series that made 360° shooting cool.
