Games that made us.

It's quite hard talking about the Electronic Arts catalog without sliding down memory lane. Most of these titles molded our gaming personas, set the bar for their respective genres, and featured into one too many conversations about neglected school projects and raising mom's ire.
And you know what?
It was all worth it.

Now even more so, since you can get them 75% off.

The Electronic Arts Weekend Sale ends September 16, 1 pm UTC.

I'm ready for some new EA releases on GOG. I don't mind if any Origin hosted online multiplayer has to be dropped, I would really like to get DRM free releases of several games, and I'm ready to buy.

Dune 2000
Emperor: Battle for Dune
Command & Conquer games
Dragon 2
Dragon Age Inquisition
Mass Effect Trilogy
Dead Space 2
Dead Space 3
Mirror's Edge Catalyst

After that, if the prices are right, I'd even go for some of the earlier complete editions of The Sims games and some of the Need for Speeds.
I was about to complain that The Saboteur was left out again, but it actually IS on sale. Thanks GOG!

Also got Mirror's Edge. Might get Dead Space. Not a big fan of re-buying games I already own on Origin, but also not a fan of having to use Origin, so...

EA, I am ready to buy more, but at least you would try to sell them to me (here)!

I mean:

One man dreamed of winning the lottery. Every day he came to the temple kneeling and asking God:
“Lord, help me win the lottery!”
A year passed, the second ... Once a man, as usual, came to the temple, knelt down and began to pray:
-God, let me win the lottery! After all, others win. What are you worth?!
Suddenly the voice of the God was heard over his head:
- I do not mind, but at least buy a lottery ticket!

Great sale, really awaiting the next installments in some of these series. I wonder if EA (and others) realize that for those of us who refuse to buy DRMed products, most of these game series end at the first installment. I'd love to play the sequel to Dead Space 1 and the sequel to Dragon Age Origins. But until they can come here, I will be content knowing there is only 1 game in each series that matters :)
Maybe GOG can work with EA and Alek to get SimCopter and Streets of SimCity re-released.

id never buy anything from this company ever on sale or not they dnt deserve anyones cash, im talking about EA not GOG

Are we getting two releases from EA next week? If not, why not?
Still hoping to see Dead Space 2,3, Mirror's Edge Catalyst and Mass Effect™ Trilogy someday on GOG

Oh, it would be beautiful day. Two of them on my favorites list and Mass Effect never played, awaiting first playthrough on DRM-Free copy :)
(I always get "bumpkins" confused with "pumpkins" and can never remember the right name.)

Anyway the devs, Worldweaver, confirmed publishing rights are with EA; like all the other missing older games, it's a matter of getting EA to care. :P
