Up to 80% off Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale and more...

After years of questing around for the ultimate resurrection spell, we finally managed to bring back Forgotten Realms: The Archives, to once and for all offer 20 Years of D&D on GOG.com. Doesn't that sound glorious? To celebrate this exciting milestone we'll be starting the weekend promo early, right here in this tavern. Join us if you like, and complete your personal D&D collection for up to 80% off!

If there's any place to start your D&D adventure, it'll have to be with Baldur's Gate I & II, arguably the most recognisable RPG series in existence - and for good reason. The hand-drawn backdrops are timeless and stunning, the writing will capture your imagination, while the path you take is yours to determine. Few games since then have been able to replicate that particular, breathtaking, and ever present feeling of grandeur that will accompany your every step towards the Baldur's Gate

On the subject of irreplicable, Planescape Torment is a prime example. Never since or before, have we had the opportunity to play a story-focused game as beautifully written, free and open-ended. 800,000 words of script and dialogue tell a peculiar tale of an even more peculiar place - a world situated on the verge the many planes of existence: a freak-show of the grotesque, of the fascinating, the disturbing, and you. It's an engaging and contemplative story of the soul, memory, and the essence of what defines your self, one that could never be told in anything but a video game.

Then, there is are the Neverwinter Nights, critically lauded for ushering in Baldur's Gate-like cRPG into a 3D era. The adventures are thick with story, combat and choices, but thanks to powerful modding tools and a relentless community - the official stories are just the start of your adventure...

Complete your D&D Collection with Icewind Dale, The Temple of Elemental Evil and many, many more - available in a single bundle with an 80% discount, or individually at 60% off. The promo will last until Tuesday, August 25, 3:59 AM GMT.

Stream watch:

Our Stream Team will be taking on these D&D classics at Twitch.tv/GOGcom after showcasing Thursday's fresh releases - tune in on Monday for more D&D goodness!

Elmofongo: Oh well how about another best outcome:

GOG releases the Remaining Disney/LucasArts games:

Monkey Island 3 and 4
Maniac Mansion
Day of the Tenticle
Full Throttle
Tron 2.0

The next list is for individual titles:

System Shock 1 (Who technically owns it, EA?)
Throne of Darkness (whats stopping this one?)
Mechwarrior games
SWAT 4 (Sierra published this one and they were consumed by Activision so Activision is the owner?)
The first 5 Wizardry games (what was the reason they are not released so far?)
Vampire Bloodlines
avatar
ElTerprise: That would be great. But no idea who own System Shock 1 nowadays....
Well now I have the increadibly wishful thinking list:

Besthesda on GOG (And yeah I know they are making their own version of EA Origin and Uplay essentially)
Elder Scrolls
Fallout
Wolfenstein
Doom
Quake
Heretic
Hexan

Blizzard games on GOG (the classic games)
Warcraft trilogy
Diablo 1 and 2
Starcraft 1

Microsoft which ever they own that relevent to GOG?

Even better especially considering the troubles i usually have to get an uncensored version some of the Bethesda games.

But i think we're should get back on topic here :)

Elmofongo: Microsoft which ever they own that relevent to GOG?
I think Dungeon Siege 2 was published by MS, unless I am mistaking something.
avatar
JMich: If the norm include releases like the ones we have today, yes please!
avatar
Elmofongo: Than hurry up GOG do some for other publishers.

Next tuesday, a Ubisoft blowout.

Rainbow Six 2 and 3
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory
Brothers in Arms
More Assassin's Creed games finally free of Uplay DRM.

Thursday:

EA blowout:

Command and Conquer games that were made from Westwood and not EA studios.
Crysis 1
The first 4 Battlefield games with GOG Galaxy support
Sim City 1 for free and Sim City 3000
The Sims games
Black and White
Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth
I wish especially or Battle for Middle Earth. I managed to get 1 in a secondhand game shop here in the uk for £8, cheap for bfme, however 2 is £15 from the same shop, which is too much and that doesn't include the expansion, Complete (With expansion.) is £20 and Amazon and Ebay is astronomical. I don't have 2 but I would like to play it.That would need WB's approval as well, which could happen. I have C&C ultimate collection on origin but i'd still like to see RA2 and Generals (Only digitally available in UC.) somewhere standalone (Newer games already are, older games are freeware now.). Would als like to see simcity 3000. However, this is unfortunately unlikely.

The Dungeon Siege games are currently published by Square-Enix, so it is a safe bet that Microsoft has no longer anything to do with them.
Why are the weekend promos nowadays starting on Thursday?

Sorry to be a broken record, but how about bringing back the AD&D Masterpiece collection? It contains Menzoberanzan, Dark Sun: Shattered Lands, Dark Sun: Wake of the Ravager, Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession, Ravenloft: Stone Prophet, Al-Qadim: The Genie's Curse.

See the wikipedia page for details: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AD%26D_Masterpiece_Collection
