Which games are keeping you company this weekend?

This weekend will be choke-full of Wang! Which means ridiculously gruesome action, impossible antics, and loooots of swagger. Remember any other gory games that tickled your fancy with their unapologetical bloodbaths and insane bodycounts? Were they extra-splattery? Did they make your shooting finger hurt? Was the amount of enemies equal to that of a small country? Whatever the reason, give us their names!

Surely you've got some gaming planned for this weekend, too. Go on, share your Weekend Playlist with us. It can include single-player games, multiplayer games, console exclusives, anything - we are not judging. In fact, we are sharing too!

Looking for some additional inspiration? The GOG.com releases of the week might help:

- You can gather up friends and slice-up the foul-smelling demon legions in Shadow Warrior 2.
- You can scratch your trigger itch, blasting away at psychedelic fiends in GoNNER.
- You can dive into the depths of madness as the intrepid yet most likely doomed Zubmariner of the Sunless Sea.
- You can help a girl banish her inner and outer demons in the action/adventure Anima: Gate of Memories.
- You can go down memory lane and thrown crates at some persistent thugs as Titus the Fox.
- You can eliminate swarms of alien pests in the now-procedurally-generated maps of Infested Planet - Planetary Campaign.

So, GOGamites, what are you playing this weekend?
low rated
so is this a kind of really bad joke for every german goger, regionally locked out from bloodbath type games?

F$%& you gog!

Definitely some Shadow Warrior 2, got to get me some Wang ;p

Followed by intermittent bouts of Battlerite (my Wizard Wars replacement).

Oh & The Forest (this game really needs to make an appearance here at some point, it's good stuff)
Witcher 3. :D

Currently looking for witcher armor sets. Gotta get them all.
Corlagon's mission in Archie's campaign in HoMM2. So awesome.

I'll be travelling to pick up my special-order handcrafted tea set, so probably no gaming this weekend.

I think that if I play something it will be Shadow warrior 2, also trying to get some Halloween loot for Overwatch.. ;)
Going to be foofling around in the zone with some other S.T.A.L.K.E.Rs in the Shadow of Chernobyl
In between all the anomalies and foofling I'll be riding around in Slave Zero,
So lot's of shooting for me.

I'd Say Jason Brody's flipouts in FarCry3 are probably spectacular, except the most spectacular take place during the boss QTE's. 'I don't know what just happened but somehow I wasted a dosen people barehanded while hallucinating a well choreographed shivving, time to lay off the yellow 'erbs!'

Just finished installing Shadow Warrior 2, which was a rare new game, full-price purchase for me. Hopefully it lives up to expectations.

Also, just got back into Stardew Valley so that's definitely on the play list. Along with more Hard West and probably Quake 1. Although I'm stuck in the map pack I'm on so that isn't a definite.

As for best bloodbath? Well, the new DOOM certainly lives up to its reputation. No real set pieces when every single battle is a gore-drenched bloodbath. Also, shotgun+Soldier of Fortune. Bloody good times.
Spectacular bloodbaths? Dying Light had amazing gore, and loads of blood and dismemberment. The first Blood was great in this regard as well. Awesome weapons to kill the enemies in many different ways, heads flying off and being used as footballs, and blood spraying everywhere. Also; deathscreams!

I know I'm crazy, but I love gore in games.
Well just finished Wanging so I may go play some.. Wang? And if I want to slow down may just go play some Battleborn.
I think the most gory/bloody games I've played are Doom, Blood, Carmageddon, Mortal Kombat, maybe Resident Evil too (well, kicking or smashing the head of a zombie IS gory enough thank you!). From what I see, Dead Space has unhealthy amounts of gore & blood too, although I haven't played it yet.

As for my playlist, I'll continue Shadowrun: Hong Kong, since I didn't played much last week, and of course I'll get to see what KSP 1.2 has to offer.
Still playing Divinity Original Sin.

I don't really like gory games but any of the Dynasty Warriors / Musou games pit you against 100s of enemies at once, which is probably the most epic bloodbath style battle I can think of.

Unless you count the scene in Eternal Darkness where a character hallucinates herself in a bath of blood; a literal bloodbath.
Still Mother 3; still really into it. Once I finish that, I'll probably go through Firewatch, which is apparently pretty short, and then start The Witcher, although that last one might be sometime next week.

I don't play a lot of really gory games; not because I object to gore, just the way it's worked out. Maybe a horror shooter like Resident Evil 4 or Dead Space, where you use a sawblade weapon to dismember your enemies.

[Saturday update: I didn't finish Mother 3 first, but I did beat Firewatch, so so far so good]
[Monday update: Went more-or-less to plan, except that I played Firewatch and started The Witcher before beating Mother 3]

Up this weekend? Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and maybe WoW.

Don't really play gory games here. Stealthers, puzzlers, and RPG's being rather light in that area. ;)
Maybe some Prison Architect. Been wanting to catch up with Galactic Civ 3. Weather's nice. Probably gonna spend some time outside. Play garden/pull weeds simulator 2016.
Path of Exile, had a long break and it's fun to try it again.
