*If this file exists, no mod banks will be loaded.*

If you are modding the game, please don't modify any of the bank files in the folder this file lives in (PCBANKS). These are the banks No Man's Sky ships with, and modifying them makes it impossible for the game to detect if you have a corrupted installation.

Any mod banks should go into a subfolder of PCBANKS, called MODS. All banks in MODS will be mounted when the game starts up.

Banks in the MODS folder are loaded additively, over the top of the banks shipped in No Man's Sky, and given priority over the shipping files. This allows a mod bank to replace any files in the shipping game, or add new ones.

This appeared @ 6:00AM this morning,Wednesday,Dec 7th.
Now the one mod I used doesn't work, it was the low flight mod (By HyTec). It made the game for me...I create a new file named MODS, put the mod in it and restarted, ....nothing.
So,...what am I doing wrong????
Help
Jesus Christ, I saw the title and for a second thought Pearl Harbor was being attack again! :O

Help
Mentioning the name of the game you're asking for help with might be a good start. EDIT: Reading carefully is also a good start. :P
Also, any game sold here has a dedicated forum. This is General Discussion.
EDIT: No Man's Sky

Just saw it. I failed my reading check. X} But still, one should mention that either in the title of the asking-for-help topic, or in the first couple lines.

HunchBluntley, my apologies...I didn't know there was a dedicated forum, I am new to this, GOG's and Forums, and I am old, very old....I needed help just to find the files I referenced. Lol

No worries. :) It just helps keep some of the extra clutter out of this forum, and you'll (hopefully!) be more likely to have someone help you out in the game-specific forum (being a recent, high-profile game, it's quite active).

And welcome to GOG! You should fit right in here, age-wise. I doubt you're even the oldest person here. =)
