Not mistyped but similar story...I remember back in the day trying to link pictures from the somethingawful website, which had the sneaky ability of turning hyperlinks into redirects for nasty porn. I posted a picture of the Mcdonalds arches in a forum once, and the picture that showed up in the hyperlink was of a black shemale with a huge schlong. The picture got some laughs, but not for the intended reasons.

Back in the early days of the web being popular, a friend's tried to go to gifts.com to find a present for her boss and wound up at gifs.com instead. Very different content...

I´m still hesitant to post, it´s not a website, rather a search term which refers to a company.
A term I didn´t even knew about till a "friend" told me. After that I think I never again searched for anything she would suggest :P

well you see one day I was going to google but accidently forgot an o and le. you see I may have been drunk that day. Believe me that event changed my life forever... It took me to this strange site that kept making my wallet shrink uncontrollably causing to scream in pain many a time.
