It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

This is just another plea to the website team - Can you try and improve the website's performance and compatibility for browsers that aren't Chrome or Firefox?

I'm a hardened Opera user and just had a slightly panicked moment as I accidentally clicked on the button that logs out all sessions and then found I couldn't log back in again - Despite entering the right login, it kept kicking me back to the login popup overlay.

I tried a load of things, but ended up firing a support ticket off, only to try again 30 minutes later and finding it let me log in again...

But the website still performs pretty poorly on here because of all the javascript and webkit-specific non-standard HTML.

Even a cut-down version that was less flashy (A 'mobile' version) would make me happy.

To be fair it's a lot better than last time I complained as the site mostly works and is just very very slow. It's just when I get scary instances like this it freaks me out. (Last time I could log in but couldn't order anything, so this was a higher level of panic than that time!)

Just a suggestion..... Keep a version of Chrome or FF on your pc, for the times that you come to GOG. With as fast as things get done around here it's probably your quickest solution.
Is this Opera 12? I mean, that is several years old at this point, and though I really enjoyed that browser in the past and used it heavily between 5 and 9, I wouldn't expect such and old browser to handle many modern websites very well, even if Opera was quite a bit before its competitors in many respects. More recent Opera versions (15 and newer) are built around the same engine Chrome uses, and should show the same compatibility Google's browser does, given versions of roughly the same age.

well giving the fact that opera has about 1,5% market share left it's quite unlikely that they will put much effort into it. So ya i guess you should rather keep a "backup" copy of mozilla or chrome or edge for the case that GOG+Opera proves to be "not working" again
