Klei are a good example of developers you can confidently back.

I think the big problem here started with Gearbox. Almost doubling the price was a dick move.

Now what? They want to push refunds so hopefully people will rebuy at the higher price?

Is it really the developer or is the publisher pushing this move?
Looks like it has been refused classification in Australia, here is the main reason:

According to the decision report from the Classification Board, which was provided to Kotaku Australia, the use of the drug Joy in We Happy Few was a chief reason for the refused rating. "Computer games will be refused classification if they include or contain 'drug use related to incentives and rewards'," the report reads.
