Really? I have no idea when it comes to that stuff so I wasn't sure. Blessing in disguise I guess, lol.

It's partly due to vB's popularity making it a juicy target, but it really tanked when Jelsoft sold out to Internet Brands.
It's like why the U.S. government uses decades-old, internet-free computer systems for some of their most powerful weaponry - can't hack that shit. That's why the forum hasn't been updated. ;)
Am I an eager Steam fancier? Not at all, a doubthing Thomas that heard Urquhart, or such like.

But did I cheer the hacks when they attacked Steam gaming users?

Never.

I think it is morally poor to mind a given hack and to be untrouble by another.

I have the institutional 3D security on my credit that blocked an intended transaction from South America, when I reside in Europe.

But besides typical purchases I cannot say I have been extravagant. Yet I did not also go hyper paranoid to have each of credit card transaction texted to me.

To victim blame is quite wrong.

Be it a forum or a credit card; the security features must be at par. It might involve an interactive feature or call when your account was surprisingly used in Guatamala; or even when you legitimately wanted to buy Jim Holdoway originals.

But as said before, I'd not like anyone to be casual about any hack...
