All the kinds of things listed in the OP happen frequently with tons of different online merchants, and they also happen equally as much with most if not all credit card banks.

The OP makes it sound like such issues are a GOG-specific problem that does not happen anywhere else. But they certainly are not.

My experience with Gog support (the one time I needed it a few days ago) was excellent. But your problem is way more complicated.
