There's no www.go****xy.com site from gog, right?

I'd remove the website and send a support ticket directly to GOG. If it is fake we don't want people trying it out
That's right!
But it looks like previously used goggalaxy.com redirects to gogalaxy.com
I don't even use Galaxy! ;-P
So I received an email saying I needed to update to 2.0.15 or whatever. I clicked the link in the email for download, and almost ran it, before I realized that I never click links in emails. Then I came here looking for information.

Not sure if legit or not.

I've created a ticket. Problem is, it's weekend, and gog team doesn't work weekends afaik!
Seems legit to me: https://www.gog.com/newsletter/GG_2_0_hotfix_en/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter&utm_campaign=GG_2_0_hotfix_EN&utm_term=EN&track_click=1&link_id=EN_preview

Edit: As a side note, I find it "funny" we live in a world where people can't tell if an actual GOG blunder is a real thing or something scammers have come up with for nefarious purposes.

The E-Mail must be fake! It has the closing phrase, that sale offers have: "Diese Email dient lediglich der Information und unterbreitet nicht das Angebot". That's totally odd!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaah...

It may be odd, but it's on the GOG website, using the same website certificate.

I repeat: I don't use, and have never used Galaxy 2.0
Based on this: https://www.gog.com/news/bgog_galaxy_20b_all_your_games_and_friends_in_one_place_copy3

It might be legit because it links to gogalaxy.com too, at the end.

I am more curious as to why there wouldn't be post here on the matter.

If so, it's another major gog failure. Sending this, on a weekend, to non Galaxy users. :-(

Neither have I, but as the naming says, it seems to be a newsletter thing. Everyone got it, most likely.

Guter: snip
I doubt this mail is fake because, as you can see, it was sent from the official GOG newsletter address.

I think that it was sent to all GOG users who subscribed to the newsletter, regardless of whether they use Galaxy or not.

You can also try contacting some of the GOG staff via PM instead of waiting for Monday.
