Hey All,

GoG is the best, and I have much to thank them for, but I was wondering if you will ever make Warhmmer: Dark Omen available for purchase? It is one of the finest strategy games ever made, completely breaking the RTS mold and instead focused on difficult tactical battles in the warhammer universe. Playing as a merc commander and building your force (Or preserving it) as best you can was fun and satisfying.

If so, could you please make it 3d compatible instead of having it run in software mode.

I can always wish:)

Thanks!
~J

AHH, thank you! Apparently I'm not the only one who loves this game:)

Meanwhile you can check Dark Omen's predecessor Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat. I can assure you it's also a great game. In fact I prefer it over Dark Omen. But be warned: in this game you also have to very carefully manage your gold to hire troops in between missions and starting form mid-game it will get rather challenging

Be sure to read the reviews for SotHR. Apparently it's still buggy and doesn't work for many people.I wouldn't recommend it in it's current state.

Possibly, I own the retail version, I have a plan to rebuy it here but I'll wait a bit before that. Thanks for the heads-up

EA own the source code and Games Workshop own the art and designs, so I have put both in contact with each other. However, Covid19 occurred and I don't think it progressed any further. As soon as EA release the source code to GW then they can legally allow GOG to sell it. Check out the Dark Omen forum for Windows 10 fixes and mods.
