BLOOD FOR THE... ah, those are the other space marines, the big uglies.
I actually like they shifted the bulk of enemies to Tyranids: since they come in potentially infinite forms, they can get creative.
Orks in the first game were fun, but after a while they got repetitive. Besides, Tyranids are even gorier.

About inquisitors, there was Inquisitor - Martyr, a solid Diablo clone by Neocore, the guys that made Adventures of Van Helsing. I probably should write to them and ask why it isn't here yet.
But as to writing, you know, I can't be an adequate judge in this matter, being an avid fan, then burnout. I have enjoyed them all, even those that were condemned for their weak plot, but by the same margin there weren't any games that stood out as strongly as, say, Planescape Torment or Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption or actual books. Dawn of War 2 is probably the one with most well-developed plot, but only Retribution allows you to play other races.
Dark Heresy tabletop roleplay is awesome, but you'd need a good GM and a couple of friends to really kick it off.

I'll follow it with low spectations, if it turns out to be a mediocre follow up at least i won't be dissapointed (It's hard but not out of the picture)
