I'm guessing the answer is no... but... since he's here right now I'm going to ask.
My nephew is here visiting at the moment, and he's got a GOG account (and for some reason the only two games showing up in his library are the two I gifted him.. do new members not get the set of free games that I got when I joined??? oh well that's another question).

Is there any way that he could sign into his account, then let me take over and use my credit card (with obviously my name on it) to purchase Wallet funds for him? Or does the account that you purchase wallet funds to have to "tied to" the name of the person which is the same as the name on the credit card?

Any help appreciated. Don't really want to 'just try it" since we're talking about actually using a real credit card transaction here. so thought I'd ask.

Well, since GOG does not store the CC info (https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/212182449-How-do-you-protect-my-payment-information-), I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work. You can also find more info about Wallet here - https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/sections/202834605-FAQ-GOG-Wallet
Feel free to use that CC, no one cares who's name is on it. I can't even remember if GOG asks for your real name or just a user name when you sign up.

Also, the free games aren't auto added to accounts. You have to do that manually. Here's a helpful post that lists them all:

You have to buy those free games with $0.00.
GOG also provide time-limit promo with very good discount, for new accounts only.

I haven't ever done it, but I think the only caveat to adding Wallet funds is that your have to have two-factor authentification turned on. Other than that you're good to go.

Make sure he rakes your leaves or something ;)
