JiminyJickers: Thanks but tried that already, but it is definitely missing at the moment. Hope gog can sort it out before the weekend starts in Poland, was looking forward to giving Tahira a go, but may have to wait a bit longer now.

skeletonbow: They do have people in on support on the weekends for a while, perhaps not as many but a blue recently said that they have more now IIRC. Some time in the future they'll likely have equal 7 day support I wouldn't doubt. As the store and user base grows it makes sense to do that anyway. Mind you, any resolutions that require non-support staff probably will still have to wait until weekdays when they're working.
This must be in the too hard basket for the weekend support. Oh well, hopefully they will get back to me on Monday.

They offered my credit card or wallet. I went for wallet because it would cost gog less, probably will ask for credit card in the future if I ever receive a refund for anything else again.

Disappointed in the wallet feature, it is very bad that funds can just automatically disappear.

Haven't used Wallet yet, that sort of feature is generally not my thing per se, however I can see the advantages it may offer too. I may use it at some point in time but I'd never be an early adopter of a brand new financial related feature like that. For things like that I wait for all of the kinks to get ironed out instead, judged by when the shouting goes down. :)

Thanks for beta testing this future feature for me though! :oP

GOG will sort it out I'm sure. As long as they have it working before the Fall super mega blowout sale they'll be good. If it is hosed for that though, they'll likely see nuclear meltdown in the forums here. If that happens, I think I might take a forum vaycay for a week or so. :)

Have you checked your order history to make sure no one spent your wallet money on a gift? Do you have two-step login activated?

Thanks, yes have checked. Order history shows refund, but funds are no longer available to spend, was available the other night.

So definitely a glitch rather than something dodgy.
Hmm, as much as I wanted to wait to see how the Wallet performs, I've put $60 in for now (as I expect to spent at least as much sooner or later); Curiously you can't activate the wallet without activating the 2-step login authentication, and with money involved and others saying their accounts are trying to be logged into with over 100 attempts in an hour or two... So yeah I see the point for that.

Still, I'll be keeping an eye on my wallet for now.

My duct tape one? Well it's doing just fine :)
Still haven't heard anything back from gog support. This is getting pretty frustrating now.

I hope they actually look at my ticket soon.
I once had some wallet funds disappering thing.. I was drunk in a bar.. then there were two fellows.. I suck at billiards.. Eventually I had to pay for losing.. Before that, after that other guy grabbeded me from behind and other took a few hits in my face.. Nosebleed happened, I was after like, well that wasn't such a good idea.

Sometimes you lose, especially when you know that you are not good playing billiards.

It is a little concerning how little control they have over the wallet feature.

They were not able to add the funds back to my wallet for some reason, so they refunded the difference to my credit card off my next purchase.

So got it sorted in the end, but I don't think I will be voluntarily adding funds to the wallet ever.
