It takes the friends numbers off the account tab.

Ok, but it will give you another useless tab with a number instead. I still don't see how that's exactly helpful. In my eyes it would be much better if they would give us some options to customize our account and let us decide ourselves which tabs and menus should be shown and which shouldn't.

Yeah maybe,but at least they will be separate.
They need to save tab space for when they start selling music and books.

That's something I've been curious about - would GOG actually keep adding separate tabs as they get new content type on sale, or would they just decide to stick everything in a dropdown menu on a single tab (e.g. "Products")? I'm kind of scared of the latter idea (menus can be tricky to navigate, and it'll further de-emphasize GOG's origins as a games-only store). Just a thought.
