Am I getting a false positive here? Windows 10 reports there to be an infected file in the default EXE file for the game.

It's called Win32/Tilken.B!cl, and it's supposedly in D:\GOG Games\ Hidden and Dangerous 2\hd2.exe

Its very likely a false positive, probably due to the process of removing DRM from the game.

Stick it on virustotal website and have a look there. Its almost certainly a false positive if you brought form here (as I have that and do not get any issues with Avira), but always worth checking. You say WIndows 10 says this, what AV are you using?

A quick google says this was a false position from back in September 2016 with Microsoft Defender.

If you are using MS Defender, please run a ***MANUAL*** update of both the software as well as the sig files for your antivirus.

You should be doing that every so often anyway. AVG got caught a few years ago with a screwed up update that wasn't kicking out any errors.
