It's a well known virus WIn32.DrmFree, spreading exponentially around the world..
That virus type is often a false positive if you use avast (not always but often), there are several cases like that with many different games not just on Gog also on Steam or disc-Version, there are even some cases where it says that about some system data of the OS or directX.

if it helps Bitdefender flags 80% of all the EXE's as malware due to the DRMfree nature of there launch code.

everything is a false positive ^_^ unless your a dirty pirate! then i hope you get so infected the CDC and NACC come down on you so hard your house becomes the epicienter of a 8.0 Quake and your world crumbles to ash!
