Given the likelihood that this will be a new VTM game, perhaps one that will drop "as a surprise" (i.e. not go through pre-order), I wonder how many people will decide to wait until after Warcraft is released and how many will just say "Shut up and take my money!" (and worry about Warcraft later).

If you've never played VTMB then you might want to wait... but I have, and i loved it, i have almost every Vampire game in the list right now...

http://tenderbeta.com <--- this has been teasing me for a long time. What ever this is has to do with GOG and Paradox Interactive and I'm 100% all about this <3

I am going to buy it Day 1. Bloodlines is one of my top 5 GOAT

I will probably also buy Warcraft II day 1 (don't really care about I, tbh).

I also own most games on the vampire list (and just bought the BloodRaynes)

These are not mutually exclusive things.

ConsulCaesar: If the background of the Bloody Good Game countdown is any hint, it seems to take place in a cyberpunkish (or at least modern and rainy) city.
I'm getting a 404 error from that link.

It doesn't really have anything to do with vampires, but cyberpunk and rain makes me think of the Blade Runner game.

Never said they're mutually exclusive, did I? I was commenting implicitly on how the recent tendency, now that Warcraft and Warcraft II have been confirmed, for people to put off buying things on sales because they're waiting for these new games. Some of those people might choose to forego getting this game Day 1 in lieu of Warcraft, while others might take the money they've put aside for that series and buy a new VTM game. Still others might buy both without any hesitation, while others might not be interested at all.

For what it's worth, I'm in the "I'll buy them all on Day 1 camp" -- assuming that the total of the three is $75 or less (conversion rates are a killer). Unfortunately, not everyone at GOG is financially able to do so.

I enjoyed VTMB quite a bit. I played my Brujah as close to a "good gal" as possible -- as par for the course for RPGs I play. I did try to start a Malkavian run afterwards, but I guess I'm not the type who can do two playthroughs in a short period of time anymore... fizzled out around the haunted hotel.

That sucks!

My interest into viewing this thread!
Nice collection, but only vampire game, what I still waiting is Veil of Darkness.

The page was taken down - probably because the naming convention of the files and lack of access control allowed four images (concept arts/screenshots) to be leaked.

I hope the mystery game is the second part of Slaves to Armok: God of Blood. :)
That would indeed be a nice addition.

Paradox was likely displeased with GOG but seems to have taken the smart path and rolled with it - they've posted the images on the official Twitter to build excitement rather than making a futile attempt to suppress the leaks.
That settles it, then.

Correction: The images weren't posted on the official Twitter but another account:

My mistake. Still, it's all but confirmed now.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: Nocturne is not and never has been owned by 2K. Rather, last anyone knows, it is/was owned by the now non-existent Terminal Reality developer.

TheGreatDustpan: Source on the devs retaining the rights to Nocturne? I assumed Gathering of Developers, the defunct publisher, which was absorbed by 2k would, be the rights holders.
Gathering of Developers was founded by a group of development studios for the express purpose of being more developer friendly. To that end they created a document on contract negotiations with advice for studios and with their stances on various contract provisions, the very first point was about thgem letting the devs retain their IP: https://boardgamegeek.com/blogpost/43915/ten-developer-commandments

That said, that obviously changed after the Take Two acquisition. But I am pretty sure the Nocturne contract predates that. The question then becomes if despite the retain the core IP itself if they signed over digital distribution rights.

karnak1: Meh... It's probably the new Gwent vampire dlc.
Actually, that's not it. Gwent: Crimson Curse comes out March 28th. The hint is for this week's release.

From an interview by Terminal Reality developers in 2011 (2 years before the studio apparently shut down):
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/terminalreality/interview.htm
The Gathering of Developers passed on Nocturne 2. They were in their final days by that point. Of course we wanted to continue the Nocturne story, but we didn't want to give the IP over to someone we didn't trust, so we developed BloodRayne as a somewhat parallel universe that would allow for cross-over if we connected with the right publisher.
Bolded for emphasis.

Also, when Atlus released Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne in America, they had to get permission from Terminal Reality, because the word "Nocturne" was trademarked by them.

kud13: I just want Focus Home as a publisher to start putting their stuff on GOG. Spiders made so many solid B-tier RPGs, I'd love to have them in my DRM free collection.
So true. I enjoyed all the RPG games they put out.

Sorted from most favorite:
Of Orcs and Men
Bound by Flame
Mars: War Logs

I still have yet to play The Technomancer. Have it installed since forever even started it, but dropped it and didn't come back to it yet. Seemed like the same formula as the other 3 games.
