It's awesome that the community is still active after all these years and it is high time that GoG gets this really, really good oldish game!

It's good that people are still working on it, but I wonder will it ever be actually finished? Not that there are major things added/restored, but it is a bit frustrating when you download the patch, install game, install patch, play a bit and then *whoosh* new version pops up.

Yeah its pretty annoying when you start playing and a new patch comes out. Also they did manage to restore and add a brand new level with a quest

Well, no one forces anyone to install new patches while already playing a game. Considering that the game runs fine there is no need to install a new patch if that interferes with your current game. But if you don't play Bloodlines at the moment every new patch is a nice incentive to play it again.

I love these patches.
GOG needs to add this game.
The fan community only gets stronger.
I'm surprised no one has tried to reboot/kickstart the franchise.

The game was perfectly beatable with a fan patch even two years ago.

I beat it the first year it came out, so I'm eager to replay it with all the content that has been restored and added. But I guess if I'm to replay it, I'd like to do it when the patch is actually considered finished. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time now, as I had back in the student years. I guess I'll wait a bit longer.

Well its hard to say IF there even is gonna be a final version - i think that as far as bugfixing goes the game has been fixed for quite some time now.

Now they're just adding new content (and it was pretty much the same case ~ 2 years ago).

The changes they make are very incremental at this point. Even if a new one were to come out during your playthrough, I don't think you'd be missing out on too much by not upgrading and restarting the game. I say go ahead and play it now, it's quite stable.

Oh that is great, I just started trying to re-play this game but it has been a absolute pain trying to get it running even with the previous patches.

I would love to buy this on GOG.

So would i Bloodlines needs to be on GOG.
