I'm recently using Magic Dosbox and it's really nice and easy to use application - unfortunately, I've got some issues with games, which are throwing the error about lack of CD. I've read on GOG forum, that I'm supposed to use file which "hides' cd image (usually named "game.gog"), and I've done it (Magic Dosbox has feature to use images and even detected this file as cd image), I've launched the game... And it throw me out of the program to the main menu (I'm using GPD XD)...

And I don't know, what else shall I do in order to make it work. I have no error, just "exiting" the application.

Many thanks in advance for help/advices!

My advice is to try setting up the game in some dosbox frontend, like dbgl. It's much convenient to configure it there, you can see error messages when you set that the windows should not exit, or run it in command line directly.

Some games bought from GOG are very hard to get configured, particularly if they have cd cue images (which is the case of fantasy general). I presume you've not set up the cd correctly. As Android has Linux roots, it probably requires case sensitive file names. If I were you, I'd check that cue file, if it has exactly the same name of bin file inside. Of course, GOG does not help here and obsfucate these files as .gog or whatever. Again, looking into the files in game directory is easier on PC. Also, as fantasy general have CD music tracks, these need to be in the proper directory (also case sensitive) so check also these in the cue file.
Oh my, it seems that it wasn't work... By my mistake. I didn't notice, that I should also "tick" the option under "general" activation of cd image, with declared name/location. Now I've managed to launch Fantasy General, and also Heroes of Might and Magic 2, with those "hidden cd images" without any issues.

Never mind then, I've found solution by myself. Lucky me, mission complete :)
