I have a 70% code for Pathologic Classic HD that I was hoping to use while it's also 90% off for this winter sale. However when I tried to redeem the code, it showed that the price I would pay is 70% off its base price rather than the discounted price. Can somebody confirm that the code works ONLY for the base price, and that a sale won't factor into it once redeemed?

I can't positively confirm that, but it seems to make sense to me that it would be that way.

Confirmed, it's always based on the (regional) base price. The sale doesn't matter.

Not sure how you;re getting that as when I try it, it says it's already been used.

As long as he got it from his own account, and not from "the Internet", it's legit, and should still work (given the expiration date).
fables' post in that other thread was misinformed/misleading, as JMich's and Firek's posts immediately following the linked post make clear.

If you have a similar code, and it claims it's been used, it either expired (or was invalidated -- possibly by mistake), or someone else successfully guessed that particular string (which I think unlikely).
