Offline Installers.

I had about 60 games showed as having updates after several weeks of not checking them.
I go one by one and in like 9 out of 10 games so far the updated files were the same version and there was no new changelog either.
Why are they shown as updated?

For months GOG had stopped flagging game updates. Then recently they restarted doing it, including adding the flags to all those that were updated during that time, so you'll be getting the flags for updates that may be months old. Also, the flag just means something was updated for that game, it may be just for one OS and not the one you're using, or it may be a change in the installer and not the actual game.

Man, they are really playing dirty trying to push the client.
No surprise, but still disgusting.
Thank you for your reply.

Check the change log for each one (if indeed there is one or its useful) as a lot were flagged erroneously. Also, a lot will be “internal file structure, no changes”, which means added galaxy functions/dependencies.

Of course I check them. Many don't have any changelog at all, others do but no new info since last year or whatever, etc.

Thanks for the link.
