Attempted to update several games from my GOG console and all failed? Is there a problem with the update system?

"GOG console"? That's a new name for Galaxy, if that's what you're using.

Can you provide any actual information?

A: What OS?
B: What you're attempting to update them via, preferably with an executable name.
C: Any error message or logs.

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. I just re-opened the Galaxy app and sent a feedback note from there. 2.0.40 July hotfix was the latest version. Every game I try to update says, 'update failed'

Windows 10, I'm updating from the GOG icon on my desktop, property says it is GalaxyClient.exe in my program files folder. Really? Never had a problem before this latest update. They used to update with no issues.

Well, just go to your games library via browser and download the updates from there.

For now try and update the game with the offline installer. After you are finished you should contact gog support and let them help you.

Uninstall Galaxy. All your problems will be solved.

Just an update. Finally 'fixed' the problem. Uninstalled GOG Galaxy, then reinstalled GOG Galaxy. It seemed to then magically update without any problems. I had to first reinstall all the games, but as the files were already there, the entire process took about 10 minutes as there really were no game files to download. I don't think the achievements were affected.

I'm glad HE could be of help to you but I don't think WE meant you to reinstall Galaxy though.

I'm just glad it finally worked. It was otherwise a real PIA trying to get updates. And I double checked; all the achievements were not affected by the uninstall - reinstall.
