Is the free character bundle a standalone game? It sounds more like DLC for the original, but it isn't categorized as such. I can't "buy" it without owning the original either. I guess I'll try the free demo for now instead.

I can only download Dafne and Itzmael offline installers using Galaxy. Trying to download any of the other characters in Galaxy does absolutely nothing. Ticket is open, so far it could not be solved. Downloading in browser works. Thanks to the devs for expanding this game even more - and for free as well. No, the character bundle is exactly what the name says: a bundle with additional free characters only. Of course you'd still need the game to use the characters with :)

Ah, thanks for your reply. It should be classified as DLC then, unless I'm missing something.

When I filter the store for "Show only free games", "Hide all owned products", and "Hide DLCs and extras", the character bundle shows up.

I asked Support a similar question about "The Chronicles Of Myrtana: Archolos" that shows up there with those filters, but they explained to me that's because it's a stand-alone game as a bonus for players of the original game, not technically DLC.

I'm not sure if Gamedec is my kind of game (genre), but I really need to give the demo a try and see.

Yes, it should be marked as free DLC. I guess the name "bundle" might confuse some.

I've since learned that this bundle is in fact DLC over at Epic. I just re-checked Steam, and this is bundle is also DLC over there, just split up into separate pieces for the different characters. Must be a mistake that it's not listed as such over here then.
