Consortium just received its 2019 REBALANCE update, which dramatically improves the feel and fun of all combat in the game, according to feedback received from players over the years.

Beside changes to combat, game now support Russian language and soundtrack, made for the game by Jeremy Soule and available as free bonus, has been upgraded to FLAC format.

To celebrate release of the new update, Consortium is now available 21% off, until March 22nd, 2 PM UTC.

Looks like the update took a while to hit GOG but better late than never. The FLAC soundtrack is a nice bonus, I hope the sequel comes out soon.

I actually really loved this game. Spent hours basically in-game googling in-game lore :D (not mandatory, I just enjoyed it. There are a couple of meta-puzzles in there if you go looking.)
I assume the update won't break any saves I have lying around... and I am hoping The Tower will make it here as well (which is the purpose of me keeping said gamesaves).
