When evil threatens the world, the world calls on Broforce – an under-funded, over-powered paramilitary organization dealing exclusively in excessive force. This awesome, 2D, pixel art action title from Devolver Digital originally released in 2015 and conquered the hearts of all action-packed side-scrollers’ enthusiasts.

Now, its long-awaited free update – Broforce Forever is available on GOG!

This final update to the game offers an improved and expanded campaign with new unlocks, along with six new ultra patriotic bros, four new democracy-spreading challenge levels, and the ultimate expression of military might – bug fixes!

Moreover, you still have some time to grab the game on a -80% discount that lasts until the end of day (August 9th, 10 PM UTC).

Check it out and have some immense amounts of fun!

Oddeus: Nice! Now bring the Expendabros expansion, please.
Pretty sure that's a free demo for Broforce, not an expansion.

All this time and they don't even bother to add the Galaxy achievements, typical Free Lives and Devolver.

For clarification: Expendabros is a stand-alone expansion that you can get for free on Steam. So it would be nice to have it here on Gog, too.
I dont understand. What is the difference?
I just downloaded the offline installer, but that still shows Broforce. Also, the main menu is the same, no change graphics.

The last changelog is from 2019.

Patch 904 20190412 (12 April 2019)

Fixed an issue with player names using certain special characters could crash the game
Fixed cages sometimes being spawned inside of the ground in Hell levels
Fixed issue with Warlock portals not always working correctly in online games
Fixed BroCeaser not working in Custom Campaign levels
Fixed bug when changing music volume from options menu while the game is paused

In the below-left corner of the main menu, you can find the game's version. It should be 3120 202308031225. GOG has not uploaded a changelog, so you'll have to do with the one on Steam's page:

Clarification - Expendabros is a demo, not an expansion

Thank you, the game version is indeed 3120 202308031225 in the lower left corner.
Testosterone overdose!
I thought this game will be still discounted during the " Pixel Worlds " promo . =(
Nice!

I just noticed that Broforce Forever finally released through Steam, by accident really, and then remembered to check here to see if we'd already gotten the update too (though honestly the hopes were almost non-existent, as we usually have to wait quite a bit) but... just like with the new Quake II Enhanced and Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition we actually got it on time!!!

:D

Thanks to everyone involved, and please keep up the good work!

amok: Clarification - Expendabros is a demo, not an expansion
It was an expansion, though -- a promotional spin-off standalone expansion. All the characters (and I believe the levels) were new, and they and what story there was were based loosely on those from the movie The Expendables 3, which The Expendabros was crossover promotion for (presumably licensed, which seems like a possible explanation for why it has been neither re-released on other PC stores nor ported to consoles, unlike Broforce itself). It was free, and so also functioned as a kind of demo for the main game, which was only a few months into its Early Access period on Steam at the time. But there was also apparently stuff they created specifically for Expendabros that was later adapted for use in future updates to Broforce, so it's not like it was some low-effort level pack with just reskinned characters, either.

Just updated my offline installer. Sadly, new release (version id 3120 202308031419) is filled with bugs. Deathmatch is unplayable :(
