Is there any way for GoG to be more transparent on what games were coming to the platform? As a recent example, Heart of the Woods came out for steam first and I've been anticipating that game so I bought it right away from steam but after what feels like a few weeks afterwards it came out on GoG as well. I think they're pretty good about letting you know about bigger games coming to the platform but indie games seem to just randomly come on the platform.
You would probably have to follow the developers and/or publishers of games for that. They'll either announce where they'll make their games available, or you'd have to ask them.
Sometimes GOG announces games way before they are released, sometimes they just do not.
Unfortunately, GOG likes to bury big releases and then spring them on us at the last minute. Meanwhile, they like to tease us for months on end about the latest shovelware pixelated indie garbage can that's due any time (in early access of course).

Their marketing makes no sense to me. In fact, it makes so little sense I get the feeling that there may be some Epic or Steam spies in their ranks. If I was GOG I'd be doing a thorough clamp-down on industrial espionage. I'd call for a lockdown until all enemies were completely purged from the roster.

There are two big tracking threads:

* Games that are *unofficially* confirmed for release on GOG in the future part 2 is generally accurate. Most posts involve "guessing" the games that will be released a few hours before actual release (noting developers being added to the catalog and listing their game(s) that are likely to be added). However, some posts link to developers' confirming a GOG release on Twitter/elsewhere, and that can be a few weeks ahead of time.

* Upcoming GOG releases: 2019 thread gives a calendar of confirmed releases, as well as an easy-to-read list of "unofficially confirmed" games (including those that haven't been released on other platforms yet). Metricfun updates the original post about once every week or two, so it isn't up-to-the-minute, but it is useful as a quick reference.

Well, Bioshock was sniffed out like 3 weeks ahead of time, but I agree that Diablo came out of left field.
