----------------- UPDATE -----------------

- OK this is was to see if I could post in the forums.

- Apparently I can, but not in game specific forums.

- You can edit posts. But there doesn't seem to be a way to delete posts. (Or at least there's not an obvious way to do that.)

- Admin feel free to delete this.

You can't post links with a low rep. That's probably what your issue is.

You can't delete your own posts/threads...only the guys in blue can.
You can ask them to delete a post/thread, though.

Couldn't post at all until now. Can't get a rep if you can't post, lol.

(Support ticket #363701, if anyone in support is interested.)

Someone found a workaround for it, but it doesn't really matter much.

Assuming someone posts a link and doesn't have the rep for it, wouldn't it just come out as text rather than making the [ url ] tag?

No. It gives endless spinning circle.

I've only ever seen that happen when you have a url+/quote or quote+/url tags that don't match up.

But it's been a while since i was under 10 rep.

Yes. Unmatching tags cause that too. As do using swear words (Try typing 'fuck' in all-caps). Or typing + followed by 91.

(and yes, there are several workarounds for all of these).
