so I clicked on a free version of Grim Fandango, got an email saying it had been added to my library....BUT no download and when going to the game page it says pay 14.95 for it, say whaaaaa?!?!?

It might take a while for it to appear on the library. If it still doesn't show up after a day or so I'd send a message to support.

It's not in your game library? If not, try refreshing your account using this link https://www.gog.com/user/refresh
