So several years ago, back in 2011 in fact, I bought several games from Gog on my old computer. I've since changed devices, and I don't seem to be able to download my own bought and paid for games. I am a little frustrated by this - I feel that I should be able to do that. I can only "redeem codes" and I can't seem to find a way to be given codes for my own games no matter what I do. Was I literally supposed to hold onto redeem codes I literally got 7 years ago all of this time or is there another way to solve this problem without buying a game I have already bought and shows up in my library?

Assuming you use the same account as you did back in 2011 when you purchased the games, they should still be in your account. No need for redeem codes or anything. Have you checked your "library" section?

Edit: Your profile says you own 14 games so they should be there.

Hover over your profile name and click on games...
So I FINALLY found the download button, because only one pathway to the game seems to actually *FEATURE* the download button and it wasn't working at the time I made this topic. The download buttons could stand to be more available, like on steam where pretty much anything relating to the game gives you the option to install it.

Usually, you will see all your GOG games here:
https://www.gog.com/account

BUT, it has some glitches since yesterday.
Many people (including me) can not access their GOG Library now.

I don't know if you know this but you can also use the Galaxy client that will update your games automatically and allow you to sync saves to the cloud. You can still dl your games and keep them on a hard drive if you want.
