natewrench: Why are Linux games only for Ubuntu versions, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 16.04, and Ubuntu 18.04 and not the newest build 20.04?

If it works on one version can it be adapted to work on newer versions or other distros?
Are you perhaps confusing lack of technical limitations with lack of laziness on GOG's part? :P

There are perhaps a few cases where some dependent libraries may differ in version between LTS revisions and cause issues. The problem, most likely, is that nobody has retested all 14.04, 16.04 and 18.04 Ubuntu/Linux games to check if they still work on 20.04. Well, except us users - and surprise, most do.

The linux installers work on most other distributions of Linux also, not just Ubuntu.

So I wouldn't worry too much about the latest Ubuntu version number not being mentioned.
