Not much to say about fonts. Usually I let the world bring them as someone else designed. I always liked Ubuntu font family and I have the impression that Linux distros are much better designed in terms of fonts.
The only fonts I choose on my own are monotype fonts for coding, but I'm still searching my Holy Grail in that matter.
Well, for that I've tried Hermit, IBM Plex Mono, Source Code Pro, and honestly I've not shopped that hard.
Darvond: So what typefaces do you prefer/use?
drm9009: Within a text editor or terminal, I enjoy monospace fonts where these characters are all easy to distinguish: "IiLl10O". Normally I pick from the available fonts until finding one where the "Is" stand out from the "ls", and the 0s from the Os, then I rarely change it on that system, but B612 does look pretty good (and has that characteristic).
For most GUI programs like web browsers I rarely change fonts: the way CSS is cobbled together on most sites, I think of it as too much hassle to override, although if you were creating a lot of word-processor formats (like DOC or PDF) picking a good font could be very useful.
Fair enough, I just like to occasionally visually switch things up a bit. Not to mention that on places like GOG, I question the choices of their typefaces.
