Dzsono: I read this too. Is my understanding correct that the code is completely optional? IE, it's actually DRM free?
It seems that they will move away from the previous limited activation DRM that plagued their Steam releases and will only use the serial for registration and online multiplayer, e.g. suppose you buy a Topware product from a small store. Unfortunately, said small store doesn't succeed at remaining alive, so it eventually goes down the drain. If you retained the serial that came with the game, you can now ask Topware to register your game at another store like Steam or GOG. There are already three Topware games here that have serials; Earth 2160 and Two Worlds 1+2 (though in the case of Earth 2160 and Two Worlds 1, you'll need to request the serials from GOG's support).

Grargar: Apparently, yes.

Seems like it, as in the code will be for something like https://www.gog.com/reclaim (Which, incidentally, was announced with quite some fanfare a year ago and then nothing...)
So now the Two Worlds 2 Epic Edition (GOG version) is not complete? :(

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up :D

I guess not. Luckily they called it "Epic Edition" which doesn't make any claims to completeness at all ^_^
Two Worlds II Epic Fail Edition :( xD

Grargar: Apparently, yes.
Well, then we should wait and see.

gooberking: It's interesting to see. I can't think of another game that has gotten that kind of retroactive attention this long after its initial run. I wonder how effective this will be.

I was one of the oddballs that really got a lot of use out of the first game. I probably put in something like 100 hours into it with at least 2 full play throughs and two or three half play throughs.

The second game they are talking about here I've only spent an hour or two in so far. It's a very different game, but I do want to give it a go sometime. I am wondering about how this new stuff works with our version, as in the do we get it yes or no.
Postal 2. Updates and then a free expansion pack over 12 years after release, followed by another paid expansion pack less than a year later. Sadly, the latter is not available on GOG and never will be because RWS employees are all flipping burgers now.
Allow me to necrobump this with the announcement of the release date for Call of the Tenebrae: May 25th

The site doesn't mention GOG, though.

Hoo boy. Talk about a late release for an expansion. Dare I hope that it isn't as notoriously buggy as Raven's Cry?

Not sure if TopWare have any info but when they announced Two Worlds 2 new DLC, remaster and TW3 they also announced new Gorky game.
Then they said TheFarm51 is working on it. But nothing since then...

Gorky 21 was cancelled. TheFarm51 is too busy with Get Even and World War 3.

Thanks for the info, what a pity...
This http://store.steampowered.com/app/456220/Two_Worlds_II__Call_of_the_Tenebrae/ launched today. I guess we will not get it first day.
It seems the update removed all cheats and replaced them with microtransactions, so gog may not be getting this at all.
