I NEED this game.

Know where I can find it (for presumably less than the 60$ it's posted on ebay for)

XmXFLUXmX: Emulators. Also, it's a pretty good N64 game, but I don't remember ever beating it as a kid. One thing I do remember is the brain gun, getting lost all of the time, and how different it was from the first game.
It was on PC too. I've never played the N64 version but the PC one was pretty decent.

No idea where to buy it though. It would be a good candidate for the GOG treatment.
Turok 2 was an Acclaim game, and they went bankrupt years ago. I have no idea who owns the rights to Turok 2 now. Disney Interactive (then Touchstone Interactive) published the 2008 "revival/reboot", but I don't think they also have the rights to the original games. Whenever a publisher goes belly up it's nothing but bad news in regards to future re-releases of games. See System Shock, for example. :(

System Shock would still be problematic, even if Looking Glass was still around, though they might at least have been able to talk to EA.

Anyway, Amazon.co.uk has a copy of Turok 2 for about £20. Still a lot, but even with postage, it should be less than the price of a new game, at least.

EA might not have been the original publisher, but they were selling System Shock as a budget title all the same. So that's not the issue. I think that the problem is with Irrational trying to claim ownership of the IP.
My goodness I had that game on my Nintendo 64 back in 2000 I could never beat it because I always get lost the levels were to big and I will never forget the Cerabreal Bore gun AND THE NUKE!

No the problem is the rights to the IP were split in two the developmental and the publishing Looking glass held the developmental while EA had the publishing so when LGS went under their share of the rights then went to some agency while EA had let their publisher rights lapse. Irrational has nothing to do with it.

I assume you're talking about the N64 version. I just did a search on ebay and found quite a few under the $10 range for bid. As long as you don't care about not having the box, you shouldn't have a problem getting a copy for the low opening bid as Acclaim games tend to be quite common: http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Turok-2-Seeds-Evil-Nintendo-64-1998-/1267?LH_Auction=1&rt=nc&_dmpt=Video_Games_Games&_pcategid=1249&_pcatid=2&_pdpal=1&_pdpdmpt=Video_Games_Games&_pdpexp=2&_sticky=1

Most likely Throwback Entertainment owns it.

I remember liking the original more than my friends did. I barely remember the second, just that cerebral bore thing which certainly leaves an impression.

The recent revival game was pretty blah.
The "revival" game, I *think* I remember playing something like that, was it on the gamecube?

Liked the n64 version though, I remember it kindly in the same category as greats as Perfect Dark and Duke Nukem 3D.
I like to know which was better turok 1 or 2?

Personally I thought Turok 1 was better. 2 had some nice improvements and cool new weapons, but it was a bit of a struggle in controls (movement felt too sluggish) and level navigation. I actually got stuck trying to figure out where to go or what to do a couple of times, can't remember if I even beat the game to be honest.
Hey check out a Turok forum it is new and clean ! turokforums.com

I bought that game the day I met the most beautiful girl in the world. I met the girl and took her and some friends to a party..we stopped at a store and bought Turok 2 and Goldeneye for N64 so we could play at the party. We still have Turok for sentimental reasons.
