Trying to locate a old PS One game I played a demo of back around 2000. The demo consisted of a mix of space combat & RPG elements, you could walk around a large mother ship consisting of prerendered backgrounds and interact with the rest of the crew, and then engage in 3D space combat like wing commander. I'm kind of sure the mothership interior was mostly white and the crew all wore white uniforms, it may have had voice acting. I think it may have been developed in Japan but not sure. The demo disk it was on defiantly came from Official PlayStation Magazine UK. Can anyone help?

BreOl72: Interesting list but that's for the US version of OPM, the UK version was a completely separate publication with a similar name.

Dark_art_: Pretty sure its not a Colony Wars game, from my recollections it would have been released either between Vengeance and Red Sun or around the same time as Red Sun. I don't remember the Colony Wars games having any third person exploring the mothership segments.

Vanark may be a possibility, time frame seems right but doesn't see to have had a UK release and I can't find anything on a demo. My own research has ironically only seemed to turn up that are other people are looking for the same game using the same description! So it must be out there somewhere.

Found it just now, Star Ixiom by Namco, on Official UK PlayStation Magazine - Disc 59. Only released in Japan, UK and certain areas of Europe explains when so few people have heard of it. Other an excellent graphics reviews were mixed at best so that may also be why is near unheard of.
