BKGaming: GOG should really allow us to change our names at will, especially now that games are becoming more integrated with Galaxy. Best advise is just to stay with it, I do know they will do it as I have had my named changed in the past.
This, if you're gonna be forcing Galaxy users to use their GOG name in multiplayer then let people change it when they want to without having to resort to contacting support.

This thirded. More importantly, gaming, including multiplayer gaming, should be private and divorced from user-related things such as account names. People's accounts should not be discoverable through the game, nor their gaming activity should be discoverable via their forum account by default.

Absolutely.

I was considering ditching my no-clients rule for NMS, but if the game uses my GOG username I'll pass on that.
