Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a challenging city builder which tasks you with creating a new home for your people forced out of the lowlands. During a campaign or sandbox playthrough, you will establish multiple towns, each on a unique mountain with its own traits. All your towns co-exist in symbiosis, creating a trading network, which you can then adjust to your needs by revisiting already developed settlements.

Thanks for the opportunity to take this for a spin prior to full release.
Nice demo, I completed it in about half an hour. Looks like it has solid foundations to become a fun city builder with a unique twist. The game certainly stays on my wishlist :)
The demo is neat. Gives a little taste. The main bit of this game appears to be transportation network management. Your only "resources to collect" are population. Everything else is direct to distribution in support of your homes.

The demo ending on an avalanche that wrecks half your settlement makes me wonder if that'll be an annoying mechanic in the future. But it's enough to make me want to check it out later.
Demo was neat, buit a bit hard to judge without economics. What I am missing is a zoomed out version (like when you click on the middle mouse button) that is actually playable as well as the function to rotate buildings. Maybe I just didn't find it but that is really needed. It's on the wishlist for now, lets see what the finished product looks like

Agreed. Rotate building if youre buildings aren't square is necessary. And the keyboard for panning doesn't work. Up and down worked, but left and right did not. I kept having to resort to right mouse click and drag -- which I hate having to use.

See description: "One of the ever-present dangers you will have to deal with are mighty avalanches. You can’t stop them, but you can take precautions and be prepared. Afforest the key areas to create natural barriers, build artificial ones to redirect rushing masses of snow, or trigger the avalanche early, while it’s still manageable. Create a deliberate and reliable strategy and you might even be able to use the power of snow to your advantage; fail to do so and find your city buried and devastated!"
