Hello everyone,

I just bought Bear and Breakfast and couldn't download the game via the Client. At 92% it would stop and show me "Download failed". When viewing the game page on 'owned games' it will show "oops! something isn't right. Looks like we were unable to connect to the service this time".

So I installed it via download from the browser. This time it worked, but the game won't progress past the splash screen. I have the Main Menu music, but it loads and loads and loads...

Anyone else with that problem?

Judging by some posts on the steam forum it seems that this issue has also happened with some steam users (including installation errors through the steam client).

Try doing a total uninstall/cleaning (including searching for game files which my be placed somewhere on the Windows folders) and install again, just using the game's offline installer from your Library (don't use Galaxy). And try to install it to the main folder where Galaxy regularly installs your games.

I thought I had done this before, but I seem to have done it wrong before. I deleted the whole folder it was installed in and reinstalled it, having galaxy closed. When I reinstalled it, it wanted to make another "bear and breakfast" folder inside the existing one, so I deleted that second folder. Maybe that was the issue, but after launching it now it finally loads the game correctly. Thank you again!
