Has anyone one tired this one I have tired to play it with the keyboard but I think perhaps it works better with a joystick which I don't have anyway the music in it is wonderful I really like it.
besides I am not good at these action adventuer games getting too old I guess just not quick enough.
but for those of you that like that try it out really it has great music.
I'd recommend you try searching the game specific forum for Trine or posting there:

I played and finished Trine with a keyboard. What's more, I played it in co-op with my brother using only keyboards. But this was the original version, not the new Enchanted version.

I played the original version with keyboard, the thief and wizard felt natural with keyboard
Doing the wizard gestures to create objects with a joystick might prove quite..........challenging.

I finished it with mouse and keyboard, the mouse specially helps with the wizard´s gestures and the thief´s bow.
Me too had no problems with keyboard + mouse, so go for it!
I played through Trine and Trine 2 with an xbox 360 controller. The wizard gestures were sometimes tricky.

Why?
Trine really was a great series! I hope GOG will be able to get the 3rd game.
mouse and keyboard all the way, i can´t imagine drawing shapes with the wizard using an analog stick.
Well, i played the first one on pc and the second one on ps4 and i prefer to play with a keyboard and mouse, the plataforming is better with a controller but like someone already mentioned, the wizard controls is really clunky with a gamepad.
Plays fine with keyboard and mouse, but too tired to play it.
I've been playing Trine 2 on the Wii U. Being able to actually draw and move the wizard's planks and cubes on the gamepad's touch screen is incredibly convenient. When I'm trying to draw or move them around with a control stick, it really feels weird. So, I'm guessing that keyboard + mouse might actually be ok.
Trine (1) is gonna hit the European eShop pretty soon, can't wait for that! :D
I thought this was a thread on how Trine disappeared from your library. I just contacted support lol.

Might have something to do with Galaxy or unbundling.

I completed Trine and Trine 2 using a mouse and a keyboard. The controls were quite good, especially for the thief and the wizard, who need the mouse to aim at targets (bow and grappling hook) and draw shapes. All the keys are rebindable, a really good thing for people like me who literally hate WASD! :-)

I'll probably replay both games with my controller, just to see the difference, but I can assure you that they are easily playable with a mouse and a keyboard!

Both games are real gems! :-)
