KneeTheCap: They didn't specify the reason other than that they don't plan to have free-to-play -titles on their store. I do not know if they really did think Traum would have microtransactions.
Could you contact them again, and specify that's it's freeware, not free to play.

CymTyr: They probably don't want to set a precedent where they start hosting free games, because that borders on file hosting, which is a lot less "legitimate" in some gamers' eyes, than say "selling games". The free ones they do host are very small in file size, generally.

Yes, Traum is now released on Steam!

If it would have been possible, we'd have released it here as well. But it's DRM free on itchio and steam (you should be able to launch the game without steam. If you can't, please let me know).

:D Now I have to figure out how to save it XD Hopefully twitch auto saves. I'm VERY new to twitch.

I asked somebody which setting you have to turn on so that twich archives the stream. Just look here:

"Cannot recommend this game enough. Gripping narative, fantastic visuals, amazing soundtrack. Not to mention, it's really creepy. More so than most AAA horror games. It's free, definitely get it. Would support the creators in future."


"Although short, Traum is a good RPGMaker -game with a well-written story and some horror elements. The hand-drawn characters look great and the music felt chilling on several occasions. I also enjoyed all the pop culture references that were hidden in the game.

It's easy to make a unlikeable MC, but what you did here was make us pity him more than dislike, it was very heartbreaking.
I 100% recommend this game to others, may give you a clearer light on some situations you may have in the future, or its just a really good playing experience!

Weird, it didn't show up yesterday when I went to make sure it saved properly. SORRY.

EDIT: Also apologies for all the chat reading. I'm still fine tuning my broadcasting chops, while staying true to myself.
