You must work for an awning company, and not a very good one, cuz that's an overly amateur shading attempt o.0

Joking aside, i'm not at all worried about losing my games(mainly because I can recover any purchased games even if I somehow lost my account)...i'm just commenting on the topic at hand and pointing out things I feel other users should be aware of/somewhat concerned about(especially seeing as not many seem to read EULAs/terms/rules).

UnashamedWeeb: As for me, I'm convinced many of the criticizers are not worth wasting my time. So I won't be participating in these polarizing topics anymore since no one is set on changing their minds anyway.
Well then I guess you won't be replying to this post of mine, right?

Speaking of mod actions: as I said before, they are cumulative and prior good behavior seems to not be taken into account. Know what that means? Get enough mod actions under your belt, and even if you've been a paragon of good behavior for a good amount of time recently you could possibly still get yeeted from here.

Combine this with the fact that "copyright infringement" could net a user a mod action
now, and even those who "behave" all the time have something to think about.

foad01: And for the other user here we have to search deep in Mr. Krabs wallet to find the answer why they are so vocal in these threads.

As mentioned already (I think?), I was banned once literally for asking a user who made dozens of threads like "do you think any game will ever rival Cyberpunk?" before the game was even realsed "how many more threads about Cyberpunk are you going to make?". That was it. Stuff like that is why I'm now one strike away from a perma-ban. Meanwhile this post with vulgar anti-semitic slur is still up a week later. Tell me how to "regulate my behaviour" when it takes clairvoyance to guess what will prompt what kind of reaction from the mods.

Edit: just to be clear, I don't have a problem with the possibility of banning accounts in principle, I recognise extreme cases may require extreme action, and I assume even a perma-ban on the forum for some breach of protocol will not mean losing one's library. I would just like the rules to be clear, and to be able to trust the mods will act reasonably.

I've gotten months long bans for things like bumping a few old threads and making a
winnie the pooh joke(alongside several others doing similar) during the Devotion debacle.

Gog will say they can't be everywhere....but one has to wonder: are they paraglider enthusiasts as well?
