i just bought this game through gog and i go to play it wants me to set up a runic account and runic asks for a game product code which hasnt been provided what do i do now?

If you go to games and choose torchlight II there is a button thatvsays more. Is there a key in there?

Dont you have that code in game's menu on GOG?

That's strange. The game should no longer require any serial key for multiplayer.

I just gave it a go. Once you have created your account, ignore the message from the browser that asks you to provide it with a product account or your Steam account and just launch the game as normal. Once the game loads, login to your account (via the button at the bottom-right corner of the screen) with the same username/password that you used on the website and after you begin a new game, you'll be given the choice between Single-Player, LAN and Online (Internet) Multiplayer.

Also make sure your account doesn't have non letter characters in it. Not sure if it's still an issue but it used to be:
