And so the day has come, long prophesied and foretold.

The day Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout 3 New Vegas come to Gog.

Possibly.

So what do we think?
With the big Witcher Banner and promo it doesn't seem hugely likely we will see them today, and while I think the rumours of them coming here are fairly solid the one about actual release dates was not..

Unfortunately there's probably still another five hours to wait before we find out....

<shrug> We wait. We find out.

Edit: Not that I'm disinterested. Just that hyping it out of the ballpark will not help them appear here today.

...and bring popcorn for the inevitable zaniness when we get another indie game instead of Bethesda's RPGs.
Judas has done some ample hope-crushing in the "tuesday's release" thread, so I'm not getting my hopes up. Indie pixelart roguelike metroidvania puzzle platformer #32598b is what this day will likely have in store for us.

Shouldn't it be “with wonky physics”?

Don't know where you have got that idea from? Beths are focused on their drm'd mod system, so they are hardly likely to complicate things by releasing f3, or skyrim here. Oblivion maybe, but then that is already drm free on disc for next to nothing off amazon, so no wouldn't be a big release.

What about some random generated levels?

Well, they're all ready pretty much confirmed to come here (see the upcoming and unofficially confirmed threads for details if you don't know) it's just a matter of when.
The 17th was the day rumoured to be the release date by one less than reliable source.

I agree it's not likely to be today and we'll probably just get some normal releases.. but, you know, hype ;)

Could be. "with physics" is a pet peeve of mine. I can assure you that most games that advertise themselves as "with physics" use only a simplistic rigid body model with a constant density which is laughably easy to simulate. No deformation, no friction, no drag. Even torque is oversimplified. Sigh... and I'm not even starting anything about magnetism in games ;)

That's a good idea too! :D

That's just a hoax, unless galaxy is going to be able to handle beths.net and steam workshop. Will try to find that thread, but it sounds a bit half life 3 to me.

Nope, not a hoax. The info has come from a source that I believe has so far proved as reliable as it could be.
The entries are already on Gog's database for them.
Are you sure? :)

I think Judas is right. I don't think we'll get those games today. In fact, I don't think we're ever going to see those games here. I've got the low-res, low-rent versions of several of them on PS3. That's enough. I REALLY don't want to give gog any more of my money. I am perfectly fine if those titles never arrive here.

*Small dash of reverse psychology never hurt. XD*
I won't believe it until it comes here.
I'm not very interested in those games anyway (excepting Oblivion but I already own it as a GotY Disc version)
