You like games, but don't have a high budget to buy them and live in one of the world's 186 humblest countries?
Then there's a reason for you to cheer up: Tinjaw is hosting a really nice giveaway.
The original post is here but he might be posting on this thread as well.
Good luck and enjoy!

Note: I am not hosting the giveaway, nor am in any way related to it. It's all tinjaw's deed, but he asked me to open this thread on his behalf.

I will gift ten people games that are $10USD or less that meet the requirements below.

If your profile shows:
1) You live outside the G8 countries https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_of_Eight;
2) You have less than 40 games in your account
3) You want a game that uses your brain to do something other than kill something. (Like a puzzle game or Zachtronics games).

Reply to this post. I will do this for the first ten people who reply that meet the requirements. I reserve the right to pick and choose who I choose to pick because I hate frauds. This is my attempt to give to those who are less capable of purchasing because they aren't in "The Rich Countries".

This is a SECULAR GIFT. Please do not bring religion into the thread or I will ask the moderators to remove your post.

update: I have gifted 1 game so far. 9 remain.

update 2: By popular demand, I will raise the game ownership level to 40. That means that you can have all the free games there are and still qualify easily if you are in my target demographic.

Will i be disqualified if most of my games are just free GOG promotion games (i don't know how to remove them from my account, i just put them in hidden category to not clutter my library)

Gog says i have 35 but my games what i purchased is just 10-15

i would love to play one of my game form my wishlist = Shadows Awakening (currently on sale for 10) it is like diablo with puzzles combined together.
Thank you Lone_scout for showing this to people who would have missed it.

Thx a lot @Lone_Scout for hosting this thread, and maaaany thx to @tinjaw for his/her generosity !!!
Now let's see...
Rule #1: I'm from Brazil, so fully qualify.
Rule #2: I'll request a slight subjectivity from your part for this one. I DO have more than 30 games in my account (118 to be exact), but the vast majority of these have come to me as freebies / giveaways / heavy discounts... so if I'm allowed to 'interpret the spirit' of this rule, as in 'having a limited spending power', I'd hope to be able to 'sneak under it' so to speak. If I may be a little bit more descriptive, I'm a senior citizen on government retirement income exclusively.
Rule #3: There is ONE game that I've been eyeing for a long time, while waiting for the price to drop enough as time passes and/or an outstanding sale price comes my way. That game is The Witcher 3 - Game of the Year Edition, which is currently at US$7.09. This game obviously fails your no-kill requirement, but OTOH I believe it to provide a substantial amount of 'brain usage'... speaking of which I already have used, after almost three decades as an IT worker, my fair share of neuron juice ! :))
I now rest my case and shall wait for your fair judgment.
Cheers & thx for your kindness and attention !

EDIT 1: added the 'heavy discounts' bit.
UPDATE 1: I have requested tinjaw's forum friendship. This way, I believe, he'll be able to see the contents of my GOG library.

Hello Guys and specially thank you Tinjaw for your deed and for giving us such a chance.

First of all I am from and live in Greece, so I believe I surely qualify for your No. 1 factor.

Secondly, I have NO games whatsoever in my account, 'cause I just found the site as I was searching for a good offer for The Witcher 3 - Game of the Year Edition.

Which brings us to our last factor and I surely understand it is not 100% not the search-to-kill kinda game, but I actually strongly believe, as you'd probably know, that such games need much of the brain factor and that, alongside your fantasy, are the reason why I'd like this game!

Thanks again for the chance and even just because you offered to do so!

I understand that The Witcher is an excellent storytelling RPG. However, the main purpose of the main character is to kill. I am sorry, but I will not be gifting this game.

I understand. Thx a lot anyway ! :)
OK, here's the deal. I currently couldn't buy anything from GOG ever since last Summer Sale. I do have more than 30 games, 253 to be exact. If there's anything on my library priced >$5, then it comes from giveaways.

If you willing to make an exception and gift me Dreamfall: The Longest Journey that would be nice. I already have The Longest Journey so I thought maybe I could finally complete the whole Funcom series with your help.

Fulfilled or not, thank you for the gesture.
Copy paste from the gifting thread

Hi and thanks for the very generous giveaway. Technically I don't qualify because I have more than 30 in my library, they are 67 but most of them are permanently free or were given away for free from gog during sales. About 20 were not free and most of them were gifts from other people in the forum. You can see my library it is public and if you decide that I could be eligible, you can tell me. I am interested in the detective games Blackwell Bundle + Blackwell Epiphany (the ending of the series)

hello dear Sir i would liek a gamie.. Sir, yes SIR !!! :'s

but i don't want a gamie from shum1 who meets this criteria..

1) ur name is tinajaw
2) u has internet
3) u live on planet earth
Thanks for trying to share with the downtrodden, tinjaw!

I hope you'll stick to your strict but fair rules despite the unfortunate fact that some people just have no shame in their blind greediness or respect for the thought that rules are made for a reason.
I think that between freebies, giveaways and demos it's not possible to have less than 30 free games in an account unless it's being just made.

Dogmaus: I think that between freebies, giveaways and demos it's not possible to have less than 30 free games in an account unless it's being just made.
If my count's right, there are 19 permanently free games on GOG now (not counting demos or free DLCs for paid games). If someone just made the account for this sale, they'll likely also have Wasteland 1 and 2 and Portal 2 (1 being counted as permanently free), which makes 22. If they also got Gwent and also Witcher 1 which is free if you get that, that's 24. So it would technically be possible to have an account that's been around for the past couple of giveaways too and still have less than 30.
