I've reached the point where it's time for me to buy a motherboard.
Current specs:
CPU: AMD 5600G
Storage: 1TB WD Black NVMe SSD
What I've decided:
* I'm going with micro-ATX. It's cheaper, it can fit in smaller cases than full ATX, and I don't need *that* many ports. Plus, it could work in a smaller case than full ATX.
* I'm going with a B550 (B550m?), as that seems like a good choice at the moment.
* Linux support is *mandatory*. If Linux won't run acceptably on it, then it's not an option.
* I would prefer to avoid hardware requiring binary blobs (unless there's an open source one). In particular, the wifi is the component I'm most concerned about (since it's a component where avoiding a blob is feasible). I'd rather have a motherboard without wifi (and just use a USB adapter) instead of using one whose wifi requires a binary blob.
* I would prefer not to buy from amazon or newegg, and there's no microcenter near me.
So, what should I buy today?
Edit: Why the low rating?
