Hello, SO! I initially found the thread that was discussing this but haven't heard back from anyone. Not sure if theyre still active or not.

I heard rumors and have found evidences of a Total conversion of the old school game Tie Fighter ('98) with the download of X wing Alliance. I'm dying to get my hands on the instructions on how to go about downloading this. I've seen video graphics of the upgraded game and it's just down right awesome. I've found some information on the xwau forum but from what I gathered it's specific to the actual game where you need the CD.

I've come across a lot of info on the GOG version of the game being able to be upgraded as well just not sure how to go about doing so. I do want to willy nilly download stuff and get poked with bugs and viruses. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
