Lifthrasil: Often sequels are not as good as the first part of a series. But sometimes the second part improves on everything the first part had and is actually better (and not just a case of milking a cash cow). So with these three twos:

System Shock 2 - one of the most awesome First Person RPG/Shooter hybrids. System Shock one was great. But 2 kicks some serious butt and is still one of the most intense games out there.

Harvey's new Eyes: Edna's Breakout was a great game. But Harvey takes that nice, creepy setting and takes it one step further.

Trine 2: an example of simple improvement. Don't fiddle with a running system, just tweak what is there. Nice game, that is a bit better than the first, IMO.

So, now here is your chance to win one of these three "second" games. Here's how:

Step 1: Write Two to Toulouse, please! (or some other 'Two' based pun)
Step 2: Write, which of these games you want.
Step 3: (important) Tell us of one second part of any series (games, movies, books, spouses, whatever...), which was vastly superiour to its predecessor, and why you think so.
Step 4: Profit. Maybe. If the RNG (Random Number God) is in your favour.

Optional: if you manage to submit Step 3, i.e. your description of 'your' favoured second part in verse, you'll get two extra entries in the random draw!

All codes are for GOG, by the way.

Step 3: Personal favorites of mine (and of thousands other players, are... Diablo 2 and Red Alert 2. Back in the day, those had been the "regulars" (Counterstrike aside) for every internet cafe gamer and lan party, plus legendary titles on their own accord. They improved on EVERYTHING from their predecessors and were extremely fun games to play, able to captivate you harder than even your typical, regular MMO fix (of later eras).

I know i won't win anyway, so i couldn't stress myself enough to put the description in verses, apologies. I have still not bargained for enough influence from Sumiyoshi Okami (god of poetry and purification), still working on it.

But one note: I screwed up the ordering process a bit and now System Shock 2 and Trine 2 are part of the same redeem code. But since one can redeem a code in parts, that should not be a problem as long as everyone plays nice. So please, just redeem the game you won and leave the other one to the other winner.

Hey, I just redeemed mine, thank you guys for contacting me I probably never would have thought to check back here! Also because of the weird not staying logged in thing I wouldn't have seen the messages until I needed to login for something! :O
